As part of the initiatives of this group of academics, Dr. Hiram Ángel from the CUCEA of the UDG has obtained funding from the PIMSA fund (Program for Research in Migration and Health) to carry out research and some intervention actions with GDL SUR. One of the main objectives of this work is to have a more detailed diagnosis of the needs and characteristics of the population. Part of these resources will be used to improve the infrastructure of the Casa de Vida facilities.
